Zoes Coffee and Cakes

I visited Zoes Coffee and cake shop today to treat my friend for an afternoon tea. Wow wow wow. Zoe is the most wonderful Baker. Everything on the menu for the afternoon tea was hand made by Zoe herself. I have never tasted lemon drizzle sponge so light and delicious. Everything was amazing. Whilst there a few customers came in with their dogs, after walking round Mary Stevens. One owner treated their dog to a doggy ice cream and Zoe leaves food and water out for the dogs anyway. What a ⭐ It was absolutely %. Thank you Zoe, and I'll be seeing you soon...very soon.

Recently popped in with my little one for a snack and drink, lovely friendly service. Ordered some pancakes, and was quite shocked to see Aldi scotch pancakes taken from the freezer and toasted, along with Aldi ice cream for a Coke float. I think I was just expecting ‘proper’ pancakes but they were enjoyed my the little one none the less. Had a carrot cake myself which was delicious! Outer edges were hard but rest was fantastic so all in all an enjoyable visit and would pop in again if in the area.

Great local friendly coffee shop. All homemade cakes. Service is quick great place to stop before taking my dog around the park. The place is dog friendly with little treats & dog bowls at the entrance. I’ve tried the carrot cake and it’s delicious. Can’t wait to sample more. Great place so glad it’s my new local coffee & cake stop

Lovely little spot and a very friendly welcome. Coffee very nice and a couple of vegan cake options - not much from a vegan savoury point of view though. Would recommend

Incredible avocado on toast with bacon, always love coming to Zoe’s! Lovely atmosphere and my little boy loves the colouring and pancakes!

I am not local to here, & spotted this place when I arrived for the day. The first impression of Zoes coffee shop was very clean, welcoming & a good range on the menu, & very reasonably priced. There were 3 members of staff behind the counter as I went in, all extremely welcoming, friendly, chatty & just lovely, there was a young man, & 2 ladies. The loo was very clean & had been checked every hour as there's a cleaning check rota on the back of the door all up to date. This was the perfect place to go after my 2 hour journey from Derbyshire. I ordered a tea & a bacon sandwich, both l9vely presented, one of the ladies came over and asked me if everything was OK, which was lovely. I would highly recommend, so glad I called in here, plus one of the local ladies had recommended zoes to me as I had stopped her on the street to enquire where a cafe was, so obviously a well known great place. Thank you so much to the 3 members of staff who made me feel so welcome & were all so friendly on Tuesday 26th August at 10.30am. Very much appreciated on a sad day as I had travelled to attend a funeral.

The ladies here provide exceptional customer service always friendly, welcoming, and attentive (sorry, I don’t know your names). The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food is consistently fresh and delicious. Keep up the fantastic work and continue spreading joy to everyone who visits!
